Dear Warren YES Families and Community,

It is a true honor to introduce myself as the Head of School for Warren Young Explorers School! I step into this role with a heart for children, a deep commitment to families, and a vision to build a school where students thrive, teachers grow, and every voice is valued.

My journey in K-12 education has been defined by a strategic approach to instructional leadership, innovative teacher development, and transformative, student-centered practices. I have successfully led schoolwide initiatives that elevated academic performance, designed and implemented coaching frameworks that empower educators at every level, and developed data-driven tools to ensure students have the resources and support necessary to excel. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence by modeling visionary leadership, advancing instructional innovation, and building strong, collaborative partnerships with our community.

Academically, I hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, a Master of School Administration from North Carolina State University as a North Carolina Principal Fellow, and I am currently completing a Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Fayetteville State University.

These pillars are more than ideas as they represent our commitment to helping students become confident, curious, and connected to the world around them. Alongside these pillars, we provide a strong academic structure that ensures every student is challenged, supported, and prepared for lifelong success.
