4. Parents’ Right-to-Know –
Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), parents and guardians of students at Warren Young Explorers School (Warren YES) have the right to request information about their child’s classroom teachers’ professional qualifications.
Upon request, the school will supply information regarding:
- Whether the teacher has met state qualification and licensing standards for the grade level(s) and subject area(s) they teach.
- Whether the teacher is teaching under emergency or provisional status, during which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived.
- The teacher’s degree(s), major(s), and any other graduate certifications or credentials held.
- Whether the child receives services from paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.

5. Annual Title I Meeting Information –Warren YES will host annual Title 1 Meetings and we will announce them here, and post a summary here.
During this meeting, families will learn more about how Title I funds support student learning, review the Parent and Family Engagement Policy, and explore ways to get involved in school programs and decision-making.
We encourage all families to attend and provide feedback as we work to strengthen partnerships between home and school.
